On January 30th, Roundabout Theatre Company celebrated the five-year anniversary of Roundabout Underground. Hear what some of the playwrights and directors had to say about their experience working with Roundabout Underground by clicking below.

Produced in the intimate 62-seat Black Box Theatre, the Roundabout Underground initiative gives emerging playwrights the opportunity to debut their full productions with the significant artistic and financial resources of Roundabout. In addition, Roundabout Underground writers receive a commission for a future play. After their Roundabout Underground experiences, playwrights have gone on to be produced in over 100 theatres across the country, and even returned to Roundabout, as with Stephen Karam and this season's Sons of the Prophet.
