The show is created by Ruthe Ponturo, who wrote TIl Divorce Do Us Part: The Musical, while going through her own divorce from a Broadway producer. After 34 years of wedded bliss, her husband announced he was leaving her for his much younger business partner. Instead of having a nervous breakdown, resorting to intensive therapy or plastic surgery, Ms. Ponturo vowed never to loser her spirit. Instead she was able to find the humor in divorce and its aftermath and created this show with John Thomas Fischer.
