The casts of Roundabout Theatre Company's productions of THE UNDERSTUDY and ORDINARY DAYS met the press in their New York City rehearsAl Halls on Friday, September 11th and BroadwayWorld.com's camera were there!

THE UNDERSTUDY:
Mark-Paul Gosselaar ("Saved By The Bell"), Justin Kirk ("Weeds"), Julie White (The Little Dog Laughed), Director Scott Ellis (Curtains) and Playwright Theresa Rebeck (Mauritius).

The play will begin performances on Friday, October 9 and open officially on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at the Laura Pels Theatre at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street). This will be a limited engagement.

ORDINARY DAYS
Hunter Foster (Urinetown), Lisa Brescia (Wicked), Jared Gertner (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Kate Wetherhead (Legally Blonde), Director Marc Bruni (Such Good Friends) and Author Adam Gwon.

The new musical will begin previews performances on Friday, October 2, 2009 and will officially open on Sunday, October 25. This will be a limited engagement through Sunday, December 13, 2009.

Roundabout Theatre Company's 2009-2010 season includes Mark Saltzman, Irving Berlin & Scott Joplin's The Tin Pan Alley Rag, directed by Stafford Arima; Patrick Marber's After Miss Julie, starring Sienna Miller & Jonny Lee Miller, directed by Mark Brokaw; Michael Stewart, Lee Adams and Charles Strouse's Bye Bye Birdie, starring John Stamos, Gina Gershon, Bill Irwin & Nolan Funk, directed and choreographed by Robert Longbottom; Carrie Fisher's Wishful Drinking, directed by Tony Taccone; Theresa Rebeck's The Understudy, with Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Justin Kirk, Julie White, directed by Scott Ellis; Adam Gwon's Ordinary Days, directed by Marc Bruni; Noël Coward's Present Laughter starring Victor Garber, directed by Nicholas Martin; and Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie directed by Gordon Edelstein. Roundabout's sold out production of The 39 Steps made its second Broadway transfer to the Helen Hayes Theatre on January 21, 2009.
