The New York premiere of the new musical Mama and Her Boys will feature brand new material contributed by some of musical theatre's most exciting up and coming composers. Sam Carner and Derek Gregor, Drew Overcash and Tony nominee Lucy Simon have all contributed material to the new Off-Broadway musical.
Each week a new special guest will join the performers. Showbiz spitfire Paige Turner and The Randy Andys, a burlesque singing trio led by Alison Mahoney, "The Singing Baker" from Food Network's Sweet Genius and CBS' This Morning will appear. Also joining the cast as swings are Erik Keiser, Christopher Behmke and Audrey Federici.
Mama and Her Boys will also offer $12 student rush tickets at all performances. Tickets are subject to availability. One ticket per valid student ID. Tickets will be available for purchase beginning 30 minutes prior to performance.
Created by Ethan Paulini, Christopher Sidoli and Wendy Watson, Mama and Her Boys is a funny and poignant musical that explores the dynamic relationship between mothers, sons and families. Featuring an eclectic mix of over 25 songs from all styles and genres.
Performances begin this Monday, February 18 with a press opening scheduled for February 25. Performances will continue every Monday at 9pm at the new Underground Theatre, 955 West End Avenue (at W. 107th and Broadway).
