"I'm having a great time performing at the Barrow Street Theatre, " said Mike Birbiglia. "The audiences have been great, and the reviews have been great, even the ones that refer to me as 'shlumpy' and point out that I 'waddle onto the stage' with an 'ample belly.' You'd think the show was about a depressed Santa Claus, whereas I prefer to think of myself as a pleasantly fat duck."

"We are so thrilled that audiences have embraced the hilarity and humanity in Mike's show. We are humbled that My Girlfriend's Boyfriend has touched so many people, and glad that we can reach an even larger audience with the extension," said producer Ron Delsener.

In Mike Birbiglia's My Girlfriend's Boyfriend, Mike shares a lifetime of romantic blunders and miscues that most adults would spend a lifetime trying to forget. On this painfully honest journey, Mike struggles to find reason in an area where it may be impossible to find--love. Time Magazine said, ""It's not just good stand-up comedy; it's just possibly the best 15-minute stretch of playwriting I've encountered onstage all season." The New York Times raves, "A supremely enjoyable monologuist!" and The New York Daily News cheers, "FOUR STARS! Where Mike Birbiglia goes, hilarity follows... There's not a comic monologuist out there who is funnier. Gleeful...priceless...great!" Mike Birbiglia's My Girlfriend's Boyfriend was also a Critics Pick in The New York Times, Time Out New York, and New York Magazine.

Directed by Seth Barrish (Sleepwalk With Me, The Tricky Part, Old Wicked Songs), Mike Birbiglia's My Girlfriend's Boyfriend has set design by Beowulf Boritt (Sleepwalk With Me, Rock of Ages), lighting by Aaron Copp (The Invention and Minus One), and Sound Design by Jim Corona (The Capeman, Movin' Out).
