Jordan Roth Continues BROADWAY TALKS Series At 92nd St Y With Elaine Stritch 12/6

92nd Street Y has announced that Jordan Roth, President of Jujamcyn Theaters, continues his multi-evening 92nd Street Y conversation series, "Broadway Talks," with Tony and Emmy Award-winning actress Elaine Stritch. Roth and Stritch will discuss her current role in A Little Night Music, among other topics of her legendary career, at 92nd Street Y (1395 Lexington Avenue at 92nd Street) on Monday, December 6th at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $29 and are available at www.92Y.org/Lectures or by calling 212.415.5500.

A presentation of 92nd Street Y, Jordan Roth's "Broadway Talks" series features illuminating one-on-one discussions between Mr. Roth and current Broadway stars. Previous conversations have featured Liev Schreiber (Tony Award nominee, A View from the Bridge), Laura Linney (Tony Award nominee, Time Stands Still), Sean Hayes (Tony Award nominee, Promises, Promises), Nathan Lane (The Addams Family), Billie Joe Armstrong and Michael Mayer (American Idiot) and David Hyde Pierce (La Bête).

This program will be the first "Broadway Talks" to be included in "Live from New York's 92nd Street Y" satellite broadcasts; it will be shown live in synagogues and community centers in Santa Fe, NM; New Orleans, LA; Ketchum, ID; and Orem, UT, among other locations throughout the United States.

Elaine Stritch's legendary career began as Ethel Merman's standby in Call Me Madam. Her Broadway and West End credits include such shows as Bus Stop, Goldilocks, Sail Away, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Small Craft Warnings, Company, A Delicate Balance and Showboat. Ms. Stritch received a 2007 Emmy Award for her recurring guest role on NBC's "30 Rock"; she won a Tony Award, two Drama Desk Awards and a 2004 Emmy Award for the Broadway production of Elaine Stritch at Liberty. In 2005 Stritch made her New York cabaret debut at the Café Carlyle, where she performs regularly. Stritch hits Broadway again this year in the revival of Sondheim's A Little Night Music.
