Off-Broadway's award-winning Irish Repertory Theatre presents the third production of its 27th theatre season, a revival of Hugh Leonard's classic memory play, DA. Directed by Charlotte Moore, DA features a cast that includes Sean Gormley, Kristin Griffith, John Keating, Nicola Murphy, Paul O'Brien, Ciarán O'Reilly, Adam Petherbridge and Fiana Toibin. DA began previews on January 14, 2015. The production is scheduled to run through Sunday, March 8, 2015. The Opening Night is scheduled for tonight, January 22nd, 2015.

Set in Dublin in the 1960s, Hugh Leonard's award-winning 1978 play DA focuses on Charlie, a middle-aged writer who returns to his childhood home after his father's funeral only to find his father's ghost stubbornly unwilling to leave the house . . . or his son's mind. As Charlie rustles through his father's belongings, he surrenders to memories -- both hilarious and wrenching -- and the complex life of his adoptive upbringing appears before our eyes.

The cast of DA includes Sean Gormley (THE WEIR, TRANSPORT) as Drumm; Kristin Griffith (IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE, THE MASTER BUILDER) as Mrs. Prynne; John Keating (JUNO AND THE PAYCOCK, THE WEIR) as Charlie's childhood friend, Oliver; Nicola Murphy as Mary Tate;Paul O'Brien (THE WEIR, MAN AND SUPERMAN) as "Da," Nick Tynan; Ciarán O'Reilly (JUNO AND THE PAYCOCK) as Charlie Tynan; Adam Petherbridge as young Charlie; andFiana Toibin (JUNO AND THE PAYCOCK) as Maggie Tynan.

DA has scenic design by James Morgan, costume design by Linda Fisher, lighting design by Michael Gottlieb, sound design by Zach Williamson, and wigs by Robert Charles Vallance. The Production Stage Manager is Pamela Brusoski; the ASM is Melanie Morgan. Casting is by Deborah Brown.

Tickets to DA are priced at $71.00 and are on sale now through The Irish Rep box office by calling 212-727-2737 or online at www.irishrep.org. Due to a current theatre renovation at its home base on West 22nd Street, The Irish Rep's productions are currently presented at the DR2 Theatre (103 East 15th Street in Union Square).
