Stephen Kocis, Carl D. White, Paul Boskind, and Michael Filerman, in association with David J. Gersten, today announced that BASH'd!, the new gay musical and the most acclaimed show of the new  theater season, would end its Off-Broadway premiere engagement at The Zipper Factory Theater (336 West 37th Street between 8th & 9th Avenues) on Saturday August 30th.  BASH'd! was created by Chris Craddock and Nathan Cuckow who star as T-BAG and FEMINEM, respectively, and has music by Aaron Macri and is directed by Ron Jenkins.

BASH'd! has been acclaimed by The New York Times, Daily News, New York Post, New York Magazine, Associated Press, Time Out NY, Village Voice, Gay City News, New York Blade, HX Magazine, NYTheater.com, TheaterMania, and countless others.

BASH'd! chronicles the tale of Jack and Dillon; two star-crossed lovers who must cope with the reality of hatred when one is brutally beaten. It is told entirely through rap, spoken word and poetry, turning the often-homophobic musical genre on its ear. Even though the topic is serious, the musical is high energy, irreverent, and provocative.

Remaining performances will be Monday evenings at 8 PM, Thursdays at 8 PM, Fridays at 7:30 and 10 PM, Saturdays at 8 PM.  Tickets will be $25 - $55 and may be purchased at www.thezipperfactory.com or by calling 212/352-3101. The Zipper Factory Theater is located at 336 West 37th Street (between 8th & 9th Avenues).
