On Monday, May 18th, Shark Eat Muffin Theatre Co. will present an industry reading of Catie O' Keefe's latest play, 'Fantasies and Nightmares', directed by NY based, Illana Stein (The Pearl Theatre Co).

The play has been in development for 18 months by a team of three women from London, New York and Cleveland and will premiere in NYC later in the fall.

The reading will feature Ashley Kate Adams (La Cage Aux Folles), Wes Hager (Ovum), Michelle McMahon and Ted Schneider and will take place the TBG Theatre at 7pm.

Catie O'Keefe's work has been performed in London, Scotland, Holland, New York, Oregon, Colorado, Washington DC, Louisiana and Ohio and published through Original Works Publishing. 'Fantasies and Nightmares' focuses mostly on darker themes of relationships that explore the endless possibilities of the unconscious mind. In 'Fantasies and Nightmares', obsession is a dangerous thing that creeps into Ralph's day to day life. When the space that controls the real and imagined disappears, all of the characters must reexamine their understanding of love, partnership and soul mates.

The Barrow Group Theatre is located at 312 W 36th St, New York, NY 10018. For Industry reservations to attend, email fantasiesandnightmares@sharkeatmuffin.com.
