"2 BY Tennessee Williams", starring Kathryn Garfunkel, has been extended a third time - through November 6, 2016, Off-Broadway at the New York City St. Luke's Theatre.

"Loneliness, the condition into which we are born, and from which we spend much of our lives trying to escape.. is a theme that resounds throughout the works of Eugene O'Neill and Tennessee Williams, two of America's greatest playwrights, if not the two greatest." - Charles Isherwood, NY Times, September 29, 2016

Two acclaimed one-act plays by iconic American playwright Tennessee Williams including one starring Kathryn Luce Garfunkel are enjoying a thrice extended Off-Broadway run this fall, with performances now scheduled through November 6 at New York City's St. Luke's Theatre. "2 By Tennessee Williams" includes two one-act plays from the iconic writer: "27 Wagons Full of Cotton" and "Kingdom of Earth."

Added Production Dates: Saturday October 15, 22, 29 @ 8PM and Special Performance on Sunday November 6 @ 7:30PM

Kathryn Garfunkel shines as the seductive "Flora" in Williams' "27 Wagons Full of Cotton," a rarely staged--but one of his most beloved--one-act plays. Garfunkel brings a wealth of experience to the show, having dozens of theater credits, feature films and TV appearances.

"It's an honor to be a part of a Tennessee Williams production," says the effervescent Garfunkel. "I feel like I am Flora when I'm out there. It's a very seductive role, and like in all of Williams' work, it's very character-driven. It's challenging, and everyone in the cast and crew gives it their all every night, which makes it that much more rewarding."

"...thanks to the dedication of the actors and director of 2 By Tennessee Williams, the audience has no difficulty being transported back to the author's hot and humid plantation of troubled, complicated characters and those timeless, raw human emotions...We hope that the company will venture further into Tennessee William's unique world in the future." - Huffington Post

"...27 Wagons" is Ms. Garfunkel's show all the way. Her Flora seems aware of her own naiveté ("You have to excuse me from thinking. I'm too lazy.") ... In "Kingdom of Earth" ...Savagely portrayed by Mike Keller, the character of Chicken simmers with magnified basic instincts of the animals he governs on his farm... and like Garfunkel's Flora of the first play, this character sends the audience home with a good amount of unresolved intrigue and curiosity (as well as an elevated heartrate)" - JEd Ryan at Lavender at Night

"...in 27 Wagons" Kathryn Luce Garfunkel gives us marvelous work as Flora...Mike Keller does a great job... Kingdom of Earth, the play works through Williams' dialogue and the formidable talents of Mike Keller ... Judy Jerome is satisfying...The actors in both plays flourish under the direction of Marilyn Fried ...The company does great and careful work...John Lant and Sam Figueira's sets (are) handsome ... Congratulations to Fabco Productions. 2 by Tennessee Williams is a terrific show."
