Tickets for the 2nd annual New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF), which runs September 12th to October 2, 2005, will be available for purchase by the general public on Monday, August 29th.

Now in its second year, the Festival will feature such high-profile projects as The Ballad of Bonnie and Clyde, The Big Time, Nerds://A Musical Software Satire, The Mistress Cycle, Wild Women of Planet Wongo, But I'm a Cheerleader, Six Women with Brian Damage (Expiring Minds Want to Know), Tom Jones, No Boundaries, Isabelle and the Pretty Ugly Spell, Yank and Richard Cory. Broadway performers participating in this year's productions include Cady Huffman (The Producers), Karen Mason (Mamma Mia!), Matt Bogart (Aida), John Cariani (Fiddler on the Roof), Mary Bond Davis (Hairspray), Anthony Rapp (Rent), Amy Spanger (Kiss Me, Kate), Deven May (Bat Boy), Jackie Hoffman (Hairspray) and Debbie Gravitte (Jerome Robbins' Broadway).

NYMF 2005 will launch with a benefit performance of The Great American Trailer Park Musical, which premiered at the Festival last year to packed houses. A party celebrating the Festival, with food, drinks, celebrity guests and more, will follow the 8:00pm preview performance on September 12, 2005 at Dodger Stages, 340 West 50th Street. The evening's festivities will be hosted by actors Sutton Foster (Little Women) and John Lithgow (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) and producers Rocco Landesman (Sweet Charity, Doubt) and Kevin McCollum (Avenue Q).
