Bubblemania

It's a soapy spectacular as permanent bubble artist Casey Carle brings his act to bergenPAC. Loaded with visual comedy, quick wit and big band music, not to mention big beautiful bubbles, Casey Carle's BubbleMania is an interactive treat for the whole family! Ages 3 and up

Turtle Dance Music

This interactive music and movement concert appeals to kids and families alike. Turtle Dance Music leads the audience on a humorous and animated ride with songs that span from Broadway to Rock & Roll! The show is engaging for all kids and is accessible for kids with special needs and typically developing children.

Turtle Dance Music engages all children including children on the autism spectrum with a novel 60-minute MOVEMENT and music experience. This movement-focused performance is designed to engage children with movement, music, original stories, incredible visuals, exciting play and interactive music technology! The show promotes fitness, healthy eating, going to your library and celebrating music! The show is crafted to be inclusive for all children and fun for parents and caregivers. Each song is accompanied by hands-on, visual, and sensory experiences. Kids will play instruments, try out interactive music technology and dance along through the whole show! All of the activities and techniques in the performance are based on research from the Center for Autism and Early Childhood Mental Health at Montclair State University and from schools of thought from New York University.

Story Pirates

A sketch comedy musical based on favorite stories written by kids from around the country, plus a segment that's entirely improvised according to suggestions from kids in the audience! Story Pirates was founded in 2004 to celebrate the words, ideas and stories of young people. By pairing world-class teachers with first-rate actors and comedians, they offer a variety of tools to make learning more engaging and effective. Story Pirates turn kids' original stories into wild sketch comedy musicals featuring professional actors to show those kids just how amazing their ideas are. They believe that there is a powerful link between literacy and confident self-expression.

Kimmy Schwimmy

Kimmy Schwimmy Music was very carefully crafted over many years while in the classroom to help enhance what preschool aged children are already learning by using music as the enhancement tool. This original music is literally the canvas that she 'plays' on, and by using this format, subjects such as shapes, colors, letters, body parts, spatial relationships, etc. are reinforced, but in a playful way since a children's play is their 'work'. The props that she brings in for the children to play with create an overall tactile, engaging experience (sensory integration) and are also used to reinforce gross and fine motor skills. The story songs were written to enhance imagination, language development, and increase attention span. Some sign language is also incorporated and there are many songs that help boost self-esteem and create an over-all 'feeling' of well-being.

Steve Petra's Animal Games

Get ready for Extreme Pickle Balancing, Champion Banana Wrestling, Coat Hanger Tug Of War, and the Ultimate Chicken Challenge. Steve Petra's Animal Games is racing to your library with a team of uproarious animal athletes ready to compete with the kids.

Starring: Pinky Gorilla, Penelope the Balancing Seal, Crackers J Parrot, Yoyo Tiger, and the legendary Hot Dog Fish Frenzy.

Steve Petra trained at the National Theatre of Puppet Arts and at Jim Henson Productions in Manhattan. He is a full-time professional ventriloquist and puppeteer performing his own scripts, songs and music. Previously, he worked as a professional musician. His shows combine educational content with puppetry, illusions, props, sound effects, music and humor to keep students engaged. This is Live Theatre on their level. Many students have never seen a ventriloquist show and are fascinated. His goal is to leave them with an interest in these theatre arts as well as in the subject matter presented.

The Magic and Illusions of Anthony Salazar

This is an exciting two or more person show geared for the family audience. Witness amazing illusions choreographed to high-energy music. It is a carefully blended combination of magic, comedy, dance, and audience participation that will leave you breathless. From magically producing the CEO of a company to a full-evening theatrical performance, Anthony will bring excitement to any event.
