Skyline Theatre Company, Bergen County's most established professional theatre company and in residence at the Fair Lawn Community Center in Bergen County's Fair Lawn, presents "Doubt, A Parable" this weekend only from Friday, May 5 through Sunday, May 7.

Set against the backdrop of a 1960s America in the midst of political and social change, a progressive young priest's conduct comes under question by Sister Aloysius Beauvier, a Bronx school principal whose beliefs are deeply rooted in tradition, who takes matters into her own hands.

The play, which won the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and starred Cherry Jones and Brian F. O'Byrne, was hailed as the #1 new play the year before and remains as topical today as it did when first written by John Patrick Shanley. The script was also adapted into a screenplay and released as a film in 2008 starring Meryl Streep, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Amy Adams and Viola Davis.

Skyline Theatre Company's professional theatrical production will be presented Friday, May 5 at 7:30pm, Saturday, May 6 at 7:30pm and Sunday, May 7 at 2:00pm at the George Frey Center for Arts and Recreation in the Fair Lawn Community Center, 10-10 20th Street, in Bergen County's Fair Lawn. The show is directed by Skyline Theatre Company's Associate Artistic Director Michael Whitney.

The cast features Daniel PatRick Smith (Actors' Equity Association member) as Father Flynn, Sebastian Ryder as Sister Aloysius, Morgan Billings Smith as Sister James, and Milbelynn Soto as Mrs. Muller.

Individual tickets prices range from $20 to $29 and are on sale through Skyline's online box office at SkylineTheatreCompany.org and its in-person box office at 800-474-1299.
