The Golden Boys - Frankie Avalon, Fabian and Bobby Rydell - were three of the most popular teen idols of the late 50s and 60s and you can see them LIVE at the St. George Theatre on Saturday, October 9th.

Philadelphian Frankie Avalon made the transition from teenage idol to mature professional and has a career that now spans three generations of music, television and motion pictures. His single "De De Dinah" was Avalon's first top ten hit and "Venus" his first number one, but Avalon is best known for teaming up with Annette Funicello for a series of "beach" movies in the early 60s.

Fabian was discovered at the young age of 14 sitting on his front steps in Philadelphia. Thanks to a series of performances on American Bandstand, Fabian rocketed to stardom in the late '50s. With his stylish good looks and mild rock & roll, he became one of the top teen idols of the era; Fabian's fame peaked with the million-selling single, "Tiger". Philadelphia born Bobby Rydell made his debut in the late 50s as a rock and roll teen idol starring in movie roles, most noticeably "Bye Bye Birdie", and plays, such as "West Side Story". He was a semi-regular on the Red Skelton Show and American Bandstand. Rydell had a string of 34 Top 40 hits, including the million selling singles, "Volare", "Wild One", "We Got Love" and "Forget Him".
