The Eagle Theatre, located at 208 Vine Street in Hammonton, NJ, announced the addition of two new full-time employees. Tom Blemings will take over as theatre manager and Zack Brown will step into a newly created position as marketing & outreach coordinator.

Scott Van Pelt, who served as the theatre's general manager from 2010 until present, announced to the board of directors earlier this year that he would be stepping down at the end of June. Citing the theatre's recent successes and planned expansion, the board of directors considered this an opportunity to split the position to accommodate for future growth.

To accomplish this goal, the theatre created the role of marketing & outreach coordinator to develop their promotional efforts, as well as to cultivate new partnerships with K-12 schools, higher educational institutions and community organizations in the region.

Mr. Blemings graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, a conservatory in New York City, with a degree in Musical Theatre Performance. Originally from the area, he has returned after nearly ten years of performing around the world, including South Korea and Barbados.

A graduate of Rowan University, MR. Brown holds a B.A. in public relations and a minor in journalism. He considers this a great opportunity to combine his passion for the arts with his skills in marketing.

"With Hammonton's growing downtown and expanding art district, not to mention the addition of Stocktons's Kramer Hall, The Eagle Theatre is primed to not only achieve its goals, but to be an anchor for the local community as well," said MR. Brown.
