Beginning this January, the Art Center will host a collaborative residency featuring artist and Art Center Faculty Member Lisa Pressman and mixed-media artist Krista Svalbonas. The artists will take over Studio X to create Between Instances: A Collaborative Project by Lisa Pressman and Krista Svalbonas.

The exhibition will feature photographic images each artist captured every Tuesday at 3:00 pm (EST) for an entire year, wherever they were located at that particular moment. They will use these images and other materials to create an immersive installation that speaks to themes of time, place and memory.

The opening reception will be held on Thursday, January 19 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm and is a free event open to all. Also on view through March 19, 2017: From There to Here: Encaustic Paintings by Students of Lisa Pressman; From the Ground Up: Emerging Ceramicists at the Art Center Part II and Stair-Gazing: Rhia Hurt.

Continuing Exhibitions include: Rachel Beach: Touchstone and Renee Stout: At the Crossroads on view through March 17, 2017.
