When Alice decides to follow a white rabbit down his rabbit hole, she enters a strange new world full of surprises where nothing is as it seems. "Alice in Wonderland" will be presented by Kaleidoscope Theatre at Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor campus at 1200 Old Trenton Road.

In this musical adaptation of the Lewis Carroll classic, Alice meets all sorts of wondrous characters - a Duchess making Pepper Soup, a baby that turns into a pig, the Queen of Hearts-who has a nasty temper! - and a Cheshire Cat who keeps leaving his smile behind. She is invited to play croquet with the Queen and to take part in a trial that threatens to spiral out of control before her peculiar and baffling adventure in Wonderland comes to an end.

The award-winning Rhode-Island based Kaleidoscope Theatre has made Kelsey Theatre a regular stop for its traveling company. The troupe earned rave reviews for its Kelsey productions of "Pocahontas" in 2014 and "The Emperor's New Clothes" in 2013. Founded in 1977, Kaleidoscope's goal is to educate and entertain young people through presentational and participatory drama.

Tickets for "Alice in Wonder4land" are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors, students and children. Tickets may be purchased online at www.kelseytheatre.net or by calling the Kelsey Box Office at 609-570-3333. Kelsey Theatre is wheelchair accessible, with free parking available next to the theater.
