Reel to Real, free screenings of four films at the Minneapolis Central Library of the musicals coming soon to Hennepin Theatre Trust's Orpheum Theatre during the Trust's 2009/10 Broadway Season. Free refreshments will be provided. Attendees will have a chance to win tickets to an upcoming Broadway show.

The Movie-"Mary Poppins": Sunday, August 23 at 2 p.m.

This 1964 classic starring Julie Andrews as Mary Poppins and Dick Van Dyke as Bert won five Academy Awards, including Best Original Music Score and Best Actress for Julie Andrews.
The Musical-Mary Poppins: September 3-20, Orpheum Theatre

The Movie-"101 Dalmatians": Sunday, October 4 at 2 p.m.

Starring Glenn Close as the villainous Cruella de Vil and Jeff Daniels as Roger, this 1996 live-action film is a remake of the 1961 animated Disney version.

The Movie-"Dreamgirls": Sunday, January 3 at 2 p.m.

This popular 2006 film version of the original 1981 Broadway musical starring Jamie Foxx, Eddie Murphy and Beyoncé Knowles won two Academy Awards, including Best Supporting Actress for American Idol finalist Jennifer Hudson.

The Movie-"Young Frankenstein": Sunday, January 31 at 2 p.m.

A Mel Brooks masterpiece starring Gene Wilder and Teri Garr, this 1974 comedy was ranked #13 on the American Film Institute's top 100 funniest American movies.
The Musical-Young Frankenstein: February 9-14, Orpheum Theatre
