From its first Broadway production with Robert Morse in 1961 to the current version starring Daniel Radcliffe, the Frank Loesser/Abe Burrows musical HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING has been a real audience favorite, winning multiple Tony Awards and even a Pulitzer Prize.

With such hummable hit songs as "Brotherhood of Man" and "I Believe in You," HOW TO SUCCEED will be the latest production of Entr'Acte Theatrix, the new, hot and hip Production Company that was spun-off last year from Palm Beach Principal Players by founder Vicki Halmos.

Entr'Acte Theatrix will soon be opening its fourth show - following its hit productions of HAIR, CABARET and YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARIE BROWN.

HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING will open at the Count de Hoernle Theatre, home of the Caldwell Theatre Company, on Thursday, June 16, and run for 12 performances through Sunday, June 26.

"The goal of Entr'Acte Theatrix is to give emerging talents from South Florida the opportunity to get critical professional theater credits before contemplating a move to New York, or any other larger arena. Unfortunately, professional performing opportunities for these young artists are relatively scarce in our area, in comparison to other municipalities around the country," said Halmos.

Accordingly, the upcoming production of HOW TO SUCCEED will feature a large cast - many of whom are graduates of local high schools, colleges and universities - including:

+ Shane Blanford (Finch)
Last seen as the Emcee in the Entr'Acte Theatrix production of CABARET, Shane studied acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Manhattan and has performed all over South Florida. Favorite past roles include Pippin (Pippin). Dr. Frank-n-furter (Rocky Horror Show), Claude (Hair), Joseph (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat), and Roger (Rent). During his extensive local and regional theater career, he has performed at the Lake Worth Playhouse and the Lyric, Minack, Stagedoor and Willow Theaters, as well as at The Public Theater of South Florida. Shane Blanford is a resident of Boynton Beach.

+ Leah Sessa (Rosemary)
A member of the "tribe" in the rock musical HAIR, the inaugural production of Entr'Acte Theatrix, Leah Sessa also starred as Sally Bowles in CABARET. She is a graduate of the Theater Department at Palm Beach Atlantic University. She is a veteran of several productions by Palm Beach Principal Players, including lead roles in Bye Bye Birdie and Little Shop of Horrors. Ms. Sessa has worked at the Crest Theater, Maltz Jupiter Theater, Delray Beach Playhouse, Coral Springs PAC (My Catskills Summer directed by Kimberly Dawn Smith) and the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, and has appeared in TV commercials. Leah Sessa lives in Lake Park.

+ John Costanzo (JB Biggley)
John Costanzo has been a fixture in the Palm Beach County Theater scene for many years, having worked at the Lake Worth Playhouse and the Royal Palm Dinner Theater. He was most recently seen as Andre in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and Nicely Nicely Johnson in Guys and Dolls. His varied background has also included directing and choreographing. A longtime resident of Florida, Mr. Constanzo is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University who now teaches high school French and lives in Lake Worth.

+ Erin Pittleman (Hedy LaRue)
A resident of Boca Raton, Erin Pittleman recently won the hearts of critics and patrons alike in her dual role as Little Edie and Edith Beale in the critically acclaimed production of Grey Gardens at Rising Action Theatre. Thrilled to be back with her Entr'acte family, Erin has graced audiences as Frauline Kost in their production of CABARET, and as the hilarious Mother in HAIR. Other favorite roles include Kate in Kiss Me Kate, Holly in The Wedding Singer, and Audrey in Little Shop

+ Jeanne McKinnon (Miss Jones)
Last seen as Frau Schneider in CABARET, Jeanne grew up in a dance studio and taught dance until she graduated to the theatre. She danced in the chorus of many shows such as Gypsy, Will Rogers Follies, and Cabaret before she began landing leading roles in 42nd Street, Singing in the Rain, Sweet Charity and Bye Bye Birdie. She has worked at the Royal Poinciana Playhouse, Burt Reynolds Dinner Theatre, Burt Reynolds Institute for Theatre Training and Lake Worth Playhouse. Ms. McKinnon also teaches dance and theatre to children at Standing Ovation Performing Arts and dance/fitness to residents at Palm Isles.

Just like the three preceding musical productions by Entr'Acte Theatrix, HOW TO SUCCEED will be directed and choreographed by Kimberly Dawn (KD) Smith, a protégé of the late Broadway wunderkind Michael Bennett.

Entr'Acte Theatrix is a brand new offshoot of the Palm Beach Principal Players, which started 10 years ago and targeted high school and college students interested in musical theater but who had limited opportunities to perform. Over the last decade, Principal Players has presented 16 different shows featuring more than 200 young people, many of whom have gone on to professional careers or top educational programs. Because these young but "seasoned" performers still need opportunities to work with top professionals and begin their professional careers with impressive resumes and a network of industry contacts, Entr'Acte Theatrix was formed. The company's goal is to produce shows that will give these talented young people an opportunity to perform in a first class venue and gain professional experience. Entr'Acte Theatrix recently announced an Artistic Alliance with the Caldwell Theatre Company, Florida's longest running regional theatre. Entr'Acte Theatrix is a subsidiary of the Peter and Vicki Halmos Family Foundation. For more information, please visit www.entractetheatrix.org.
