Little Shop of Horrors is now playing at the Hale Center through August 27th, 2011. From the writing team of Disney's Beauty & The Beast and The Little Mermaid comes this lively musical about a down-and out skid row floral assistant who becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious craving. Charming, tuneful and hilarious, with tongue firmly planted in cheek, Little Shop of Horrors never fails to entertain. Music by: Alan Menken Book by:Howard Ashman

The Cast:

Gary Caswell

Character Name: Mr. Mushnik

Gary is proud to be apart of this great production. One of his favorites since high school, Gary has wanted to play Mushnik for a long time. Some of his past favorites here at Hale have been Hello Dolly, Guys and Dolls, The Happiest Millionaire, and Beauty and the Beast. For the past five years, he has played Jacob Marley in Hale's Production of A Christmas Carol. In addition to Hale, Gary has also worked for Phoenix Theatre,Tempe LittleTheatre and Broadway Palm. Gary thanks the wonderful cast and crew for a great production. Love you, Brandon. Love you, Di. GO TEAM CAMBRIAN!

Cambrian james

Crew Role: Director/Choreographer

Cambrian is excited to direct and choreograph Little Shop of Horrors! He has won numerous ariZoni awards including Choreography and Hair and Makeup Design. Cambrian directs and choreographs at numerous theatres throughout the Valley, including Desert Stages and Mesa Encore Theater. Other shows that Cambrian has directed/choreographed here at Hale include Hello Dolly!, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, A Christmas Carol, Singin' in the Rain, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Joseph . . . Dreamcoat, Lucky Stiff, The Little Mermaid, Music Man, The King & I, and April Ann. Cambrian would like to thank Dave, Corrin, Lincoln, and of course Laszlo.

Alaina Beauloye

Character Name: Audrey

Alaina is originally from New York where she began acting and singing professionally at age 11. She can be seen in local and national TV commercials and theatre around the Valley. Alaina is thrilled to be back at Hale and honored to be part of this incredible cast. Most recent roles; Mary Bland in Eating Raoul at Nearly Naked Theatre and Christine in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels at DST. Other Hale roles; Florence in Man With the Pointed Toes, Anna in The King & I, Amalia in She Loves Me, Lina Lamont in Singin in the Rain, Billie Dawn in Born Yesterday, Millie in Seven Brides. Special thanks to Craig, Kalyn and Megan!

Manda Leigh Blunt

Character Name: Puppeteer/Ensemble

Manda Leigh is so happy to be making her Hale Theatre debut! Manda Leigh has played Kathleen in Ragtime, Lucy in You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, Bag Lady in Rent, and Titania in Midsummer Night's Dream. Manda Leigh is also a playwright, having written the book to The Devil Went Down To Georgia the Musical and book/music/lyrics to Captain X, a new musical. She'd like to thank her Mama, Gramlyn, and Matthew, with all the love in the world! Let's Git it!

Rebecca Bryce

Character Name: Crystal

Rebecca is thrilled to be a part of this production! She was most recently seen in Phoenix Theatre's production of Nine. She has also been seen in many other Hale shows, such as Beauty and the Beast, Jack and the Beanstalk, A Christmas Carol, Footloose, Singin' in the Rain, The Little Mermaid, and The Music Man. Becca graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor's degree in Music Theatre Performance from Arizona State University. Many thanks to this fabulously talented cast and crew for all their hard work on this production!

Chad Campbell

Character Name: Seymour


Chad is happy to be appearing in his first Hale production. Some of his past roles include Jinx in Forever Plaid, Pippen in Pippen, Leaf in Putnam County Spelling Bee, Peachy in The Man Who Would Be King, and Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors. Chad would like to thank Dave, Corrin, Lincoln, and Cambrian for this opportunity, the cast for being so talented, and most importantly, Emily, Ben, Ellie and the love of his life, Amanda, for their support.

Brent Graham

Character Name: Audrey II

Brent is ecstatic to be back at Hale and doing another show with his lovely wife Jessica. He was last seen here in Guys & Dolls and Christmas Carol 2009. He would like to thank his family for their love and support. He also would like to thank Dave and Corrin for giving him such a fun place to play!
