Blake Silver, associate director of Broadway's celebrated 2015 Deaf West revival of 'Spring Awakening,' will co-direct the upcoming concert premiere of 'Emojiland' at Rockwell Table & Stage in Los Angeles. Creators Keith and Laura Harrison will also co-direct.

Silver's directorial credits also include 'LA Ronde' with Michael Arden, the musical television pilot 'Boyfred' for ABC/Sony, and '#Cybriety' starring Charlie Sheen. The three collaborators met while students at Northwestern University.

'Emojiland' tells the story of an emoji civilization contained within a teenager's smartphone. When the phone falls behind a dresser, the inhabitants of Emojiland must figure out how to save themselves before the battery runs out and their universe shuts down, lost forever.

The performance will take place on May 9th, 2016 at 8:00pm. Visit www.emojiland.com to learn more.

Rockwell Table & Stage, located at 1714 N. Vermont Ave., is L.A.'s premiere spot for extraordinary entertainment and dining. Tickets for Emojiland are on sale for $15/$25/$35 at www.rockwell-la.com.
