Engeman Theater Partners with Bethpage Federal Credit Union For Charities

On Thursday, April 7, Kevin O'Neill, Executive Producer and Owner of the John W. Engeman Theater, along with Kirk Kordeleski, President and CEO, Bethpage Federal Credit Union, presented a check to Senyal Walton and Sybil Mimy Johnson, Executive Director, of Project GRAD Long Island. They raised the money through ticket sales at the John W. Engeman Theater at Northport using a special Bethpage promotional code. For every ticket sold using that code a portion was donated to Project Grad Long Island.

"The John W. Engeman Theater Is one of Long Island's hidden gems that have provided the Long Island Community with Broadway Caliber entertainment for years. We are pleased to help bring this level of talent and entertainment to Long Islanders at a discounted price," said Linda Armyn, Senior Vice President, Bethpage Federal Credit Union.

Project GRAD Long Island, which provides comprehensive college readiness services in partnership with economically disadvantaged school districts.

For every ticket to Cabaret sold using the Bethpage Promotional code, the John W. Engeman Theater generously donated $10.00 to a charity that Bethpage nominates. Cabaret was the first in a series of Bethpage supported shows at the John W. Engeman Theater, each of which will raise money and awareness for a different Long Island charity. Bethpage will also partner with the Engeman Theater On Guys and Dolls, which runs now through June 19, 2011, as well as other shows in the 2011-2012 season.
