Paines Plough and Pentabus Theatre present Every Brilliant Thing - an uplifting story about depression, and the lengths we go to for those we love, at the Everyman Tuesday 18th July, for three performances only.

You're seven years old. Mum's in hospital. Dad says she's 'done something stupid'. She finds it hard to be happy. You make a list of everything that's brilliant about the world. Everything worth living for: 1) Ice cream, 2) Water fights, 3) Staying up past your bedtime and being allowed to watch TV, 4) The colour yellow, 5) Things with stripes, 6) Rollercoasters 7) People falling over. You leave it on her pillow. You know she's read it because she's corrected your spelling. Soon, the list will take on a life of its own.

Suitable for ages 14+. This worldwide smash hit is not to be missed. The play takes to the Everyman stage, Tuesday 18th July at 8pm, and Wednesday 19th July at 6pm and 9pm. Tickets €20, €18 concession, or €9 for students, available from the Box Office, phone 021 4501 673, or visit everymancork.com
