A Japanese girl band consists of four girls; Suu (Sumire Yoshida) as Vocal and guitarist, Hinanchu (Hinako Umemura) the drummer, Ainyan (Aina Yamauchi) as bassist, and Yukarun (Yukako Kurosaka) as the keyboardist.
They made a major debut with the single, “Sweet Pop!” in November 2012. All the members are also active as reader model. They became popular among high school girls, and have more than four hundred thousand followers in their LINE official account.
Hinanchu, the leader and also drummer, along with Yukarun, the keyboardist, became a trending topic after making an appearance in a Japanese TV show “Kanjyani Shiwake”. The bassist Ainyan designs their goods and band mascot, “SiSi-kun”, which is famous among their fans. She is also skilled in drawing portrait. The vocal and guitarist, Suu, is also the music composer and songwriter. She has written most of Silent Siren’s song lyrics.
From the single “Biisan (Beach Sandals)” released in 2013, they have released nine single albums and ranked within 10th place consecutively in Oricon weekly chart. Last year in 2014, they made their first overseas live concert as a band in Hong Kong, and making their first step into Asia’s market. They are also scheduled to make an appearance in “ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL” on August, and the year-end event “COUNTDOWN JAPAN”. Moreover, they held and succeeded a live concert as a band in Nippon Budokan on 17th of January 2015. Their third album “Silent Siren” includes songs from their singles and many other collaborated songs. It is a must have item!
Silent Siren will start their live tour from April for their third album. They will be performing in Taiwan and Hongkong, this will be their Asia tour.
