Founder and Artistic Director Jeannette Clift George today announced A. D. Players' 2013-2014 MainStage season of 'Favorites' including a Pulitzer prize winning play, a famous comedy, and an iconic musical.

Opening the season is the hilarious dark comedy Arsenic and Old Lace by Joseph Kesselring, a play that the New York Times called "so funny that none of us will ever forget it."

The season continues with a different kind of Christmas fantasy, Gold, Frankincense, Christmas Tree Ornaments, and Myrrh by Thomas Ohlson, followed in the new year by the Pulitzer Prize, Tony Award, and Critics Circle Award winning drama The Diary of Anne Frank by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, and the rarely produced romantic comedy Peg O' My Heart by J. Hartley Manners.

Finishing the A. D. Players' season of 'Favorites' is the iconic musical Godspell conceived and originally directed by John-Michael Tebelak, with music and new lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, originally produced on the New York Stage by Edgar Lansbury, Stuart Duncan, and Joseph Beruh.

In addition to its five show season, A. D. Players will produce Jeannette Clift George's John, His Story which played Off-Broadway in 1997. John, His Story will run for two weeks at Easter.

Season ticket holders can purchase their subscriptions to the 2013-2014 season now. Tickets will go on sale to the public in May.
