Broadway Palm Stage to Present CRAZY FOR YOU, Begin. 12/30

The Tony Award-winning Crazy For You taps its way onto the Broadway Palm stage December 30 through February 14, 2015. This high-energy, musical comedy of mistaken identities and plot twists features magnificent tap dancing and fabulous music by George and Ira Gershwin.

Crazy For You is the story of Bobby Child, a well-to-do 1930's playboy who just wants to dance. Despite the efforts of his mother to turn him into a ruthless banker, Bobby decides to follow his dream instead! Bobby's mother demands that he carry out a piece of banking business for her and go to Deadrock, Nevada to foreclose on a rundown theatre. When Bobby arrives, he notices that the town had seen better days! The owner's spunky daughter, Polly, vows to get even with Bobby, but when they meet, Bobby falls head over heels in love. Bobby finds himself in quite a bind... if he forecloses on the theatre, he will lose the girl he loves; so he impersonates a Broadway producer and puts on a show to pay off the mortgage. When the real producer shows up, along with Bobby's fiancée, the fun really starts! The memorable Gershwin score includes I Can't Be Bothered Now, Bidin' My Time, I Got Rhythm, They Can't Take That Away from Me, Nice Work If You Can Get It, Embraceable You, and Someone to Watch Over Me.
