I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change -aka "Everything you've ever secretly pondered about dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands, wives and in-laws, but were afraid to admit." Two Muses Theatre wraps its successful season with the musical comedy, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, June 3 through 19, in its new space shared with Monster Box Theatre in Waterford.

A celebration of the mating game, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change takes on the truths and myths behind "the relationship." Act I explores the angst of dating, to love and marriage; while Act II navigates the agonies and triumphs of in-laws, kids, family road trips and even finding new love for seniors at a funeral, no less. This fun and hilarious musical revue pays tribute to those who have loved and lost, to those who have fallen on their face at the portal of romance and to those who have ever dared to ask, "Say, what are you doing Saturday night?"

I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change is the second longest-running Off-Broadway musical. It first opened in 1996 and closed 12 years later after 5,003 performances. The popular musical is so full of universal truths that it has been translated into over 14 languages and has connected with audiences on nearly every continent.

Four local veteran musical theatre performers portray a myriad of characters in this entertaining set of songs and scenes based on "that crazy little thing called love." Two Muses Theatre Artistic Director, Diane Hill, will do triple-duty as director, music director and performer.

"I've just come off directing a very successful production of How I Learned to Drive in our new space, and that was some heavy-duty subject matter," says Hill of Wolverine Lake. "It's great to be back on stage, with a light, fun musical to kick off summer, and I have a terrific cast to work with." The other members of the ensemble are John DeMerell (White Lake), Carrie Jay Sayer(Dexter) and Topher Payne (Royal Oak).
