Miller Auditorium is pleased to announce two additions to its 2017-18 Lake Michigan Mailers Spotlight Series. Live in Central Park [Revisited]: Simon & Garfunkel (starring Lee Lessack / Johnny Rodgers) and Grand Rapids Ballet's Alice in Wonderland will both be coming to the Miller stage for one night only.

Single ticket on-sale dates will be announced later this fall. Group tickets are available now for all performances by calling (269) 387-2312. Most shows have discounts available for groups of 10 or more. In 1981, more than 500,000 music fans gathered in Central Park to witness a concert by the now legendary reunion of folk duo Simon & Garfunkel. On Friday, Nov. 17 at 8 p.m., award-winning recording artists, Lee Lessack and Johnny Rodgers recreate that magical night in Live in Central Park [Revisited]: Simon & Garfunkel, starring Lee Lessack / Johnny Rodgers. With dulcet vocals harmonizing over lilting guitar, you'll hear all the beloved poetic masterpieces that made Simon & Garfunkel famous: "Mrs. Robinson," "Homeward Bound," "Scarborough Fair," "Bridge Over Troubled Waters," "The Sound of Silence," and many more!

Lee Lessack's graceful lyric baritone vocals and sophisticated, yet endearing persona have made him a shining star on the international concert scene. Billboard Magazine calls his singing "cabaret romanticism of a high order." Touring extensively in the United States and Europe to sold-out performances and releasing eight albums, Lessack has proven himself as both a performer and recording artist.

Johnny Rodgers is an internationally celebrated singer-songwriter, pianist, music ambassador, Broadway star and recording artist who is described by Stephen Holden, from The New York Times, as an entertainer "who has show business in his bones" with "fused elements of Billy Joel, Peter Allen and Johnny Mercer."

Grand Rapids Ballet's Alice in Wonderland comes to Miller Friday, March 9, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. The magical world and colorful characters of Wonderland are imagined by Argentinian visual artist, Luis Grané. Intrigued by the chance to explore the intersection of ballet and animation, Grané-who is best known for his award-winning illustration work on such major motion pictures as The Box Trolls, The Matrix, Hotel Transylvania and Ratatouille-jumped at the opportunity.

This exciting ballet features the choreography of Brian Enos, the artistic director of The Big Muddy Dance Company in St. Louis, Missouri. While primarily known as a contemporary choreographer, Brian is just as talented at choreographing classical ballet. As Hedy Weiss of Chicago Sun-Times said, Brian's work is "alternately sexy, playful, absurd and quirkily exotic." The ballet will stay true to the beloved novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, originally published in 1865.
