Go Comedy! Presents BEST DAMN HOLIDAY SHOW, Opens 11/18

Go Comedy! has loaded its sleigh with laughs and guffaws for the holiday season with its second original holiday comedy, Best Damn Holiday Show. Opening November 18, the show will play Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights through December 23. Tickets ($10-$15) are available online at www.gocomedy.net, by calling (248) 372-0575, or in person Wednesday - Sunday beginning at 6pm at the Go Comedy! box office. Go Comedy! is all aglow with its second holiday revue - Best Damn Holiday Show. Equal parts sentimental and silly, this hilarious show asks: will Frosty find true love?; what's the hottest toy craze?, what happened at the holiday office party? and much, much more. Written by and featuring Go Comedy! resident cast members Chris DiAngelo (Ferndale), Anne Faba (Clinton Twp), Pj Jacokes (Ferndale), Suzie Jacokes (Ferndale), Bryan Lark (Ferndale) and new comer Christa Coulter (Royal Oak), Best Damn Holiday Show is the fifth Go Comedy! production jointly directed by Tommy & Michelle LeRoy of Ferndale.

Tickets and show times for Best Damn Holiday Show are Thursdays at 8pm ($10), Friday and Saturday at 8pm ($15). A complete Go Comedy! weekly schedule for November and December follows.

Best Damn Holiday Show launches Go Comedy!'s third year of hilarious shows, Detroit's best improv, and the rapidly growing Go U! The Improv Academy. Launched in the fall of 2008 in a former Secretary of State building, the improv theater has garnered the title of Detroit's Best Comedy Club two years in a row from Metro Times and Real Detroit. The 90-seat theatre hosts shows Wednesday through Sunday with more than 70 improvisers performing written and fully improvised shows each week. With two years under its belt, Go Comedy! Improv Theater is an uproarious success in the face of a turbulent Michigan economy.
