EYE CANDY Reunites at Go Comedy, 4/4

For one night only, Eye Candy is coming back to the stage at Go Comedy Improv Theater, Wednesday April 4 at 8pm. This special performance will benefit the Detroit Improv Festival (www.detroitimprovfestival.org) taking place in August. Eye Candy is an improv super group made up of Tim Robinson, Adam Peacock, Tim McKendrick, Pj Jacokes and Chris DiAngelo. They joined forces in 2004 performing weekly at the Improv Inferno in Ann Arbor and Planet Ant in Hamtramck.

Tim Robinson recently performed on The Second City Chicago Mainstage. He is also a proud member of the improv powerhouses Cook County Social Club and My Mans. Prior to performing on The Second City Mainstage, he was a member of The Second City Touring Company. He hails from Metro Detroit, Michigan where he was a member of The Second City Detroit Mainstage for almost two years. Prior to that, he toured the great state of Michigan with The Second City Detroit Touring Company.

Adam Peacock recently performed on The Second City Chicago Mainstage and grew up just outside of Detroit and attended Eastern Michigan University. He was a cast member in the Theatrical The Second City's Got Balls: An Evening Of Sports Comedy in Detroit and most recently was a cast member for The Second City on the Norwegian Cruise Lines Spirit and NCL Pearl. Adam can also be seen performing with Ghostman and Schitck Mahorn.

Tim McKendrick moved to Chicago in the spring of 2008. Originally from Detroit, Tim has over 9 years of improv and performance experience. He has completed training programs at the iO, the Annoyance and Second City. Tim performs around Chicago, and has been involved in several Annoyance productions including: "Fuck You, I Love You, Goodbye: The Rahm Emanuel Story," "Oprah a Comedy: Live Your Best Laugh," "Good Liars," and "Hometown Pride." You may also catch him performing around town with his two-person group Free Trophies.

Pj Jacokes has been teaching improv for nearly 10 years now. Along with Tommy LeRoy and Chris DiAngelo, he started Go U: The Improv Academy in October of 2008. He got his start at The Second City, Detroit where he taught for seven years and eventually became the Head Instructor. He was a member of The Second City Detroit's Touring Company, The Improv Inferno, The Planet Ant Theater, and U of M's CRLT Players. At Go Comedy! Pj can be seen in Rock-O-Matic: The Improvised Rock Opera, The Go Comedy! All-Star Showdown and The Mighty They.

Chris DiAngelo is the Artistic Director and one of the Co-Owners of Go Comedy! Improv Theater. He has been doing improv for nearly 20 years and his training encompasses many of the different improv schools including The Second City, the Annoyance Theatre, IO Theater and Improv Inferno. He is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and was recently seen in the film Cedar Rapids.

Also performing will be Detroit native and stand up comic Saurin Choksi and the improv group Home School (www.homeschoolimprov.com), fresh off their appearance at the Spontaneous Combustion Atlanta Improv Festival. Home School is Jennifer Bloomer, Dan Brittain, Eric Heilner, Brian Papandrea, Andrew Seiler and Bob Wieck.
