With Santa's permission, Buddy the ELF has made an early visit to Detroit! To spread holiday cheer and encourage everyone to embrace their inner ELF, Buddy has taken over the Fox Theatre's former box office window and created a North-Pole-ready wonderland donning snowflakes, hand-crafted garlands and a LEGO® replica of the landmark theatre. On loan from LEGOLAND® Discovery Center's MINILAND exhibit, the miniature Fox Theatre measures 7 inches deep, 11.5 inches wide and 19 inches tall. The festive display signifies less than two weeks until the beloved Fox Theatre's holiday season commences with Santa's arrival in the Broadway musical ELF playing November 15-20.

Since LEGOLAND Discovery Center Michigan's grand opening, this is the first time that a model has been taken out of MINILAND to travel to its real-world counterpart. MINILAND is a unique LEGO landscape showcasing the landmarks of the Metro Detroit area. It is composed of more than a million LEGO bricks and took a team of 20 LEGO expert builders six months to fully install.

The window display is currently available for viewing at the Fox Theatre's main entrance along Woodward Avenue through Monday, November 21.

Thank you to the LEGOLAND Discovery Center Michigan at Great Lakes Crossing Outlets for loaning the MINILAND model of the Fox Theatre; LEGOLANDDiscoveryCenter.com/Michigan.
