The Englert Theatre and Nolte Academy of Dance will present The Nutcracker on Friday, December 2nd at 7:30pm; Saturday, December 3rd at 2pm and 7:30pm; and Sunday, December 4th at 2pm.

The Englert is proud to once again host a unique and highly entertaining version of this beloved Christmas classic. The Nutcracker is a two-act ballet, originally choreographed by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov with a score by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. The libretto is adapted from the story "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King" by E. T. A. Hoffmann.

This holiday classic comes to life with performances by dancers from Nolte Academy of Dance and other local studios. The performances will feature a professional, live 30-piece orchestra of local musicians, conducted by Carey Bostian. Don't miss the wonder and enchantment of this Christmas tale!
