Recycled Runway is a guided independent study workshop presented by The Common Threads Creative Lab in Boulder for middle and high school students. The 2017 edition will take place at the Boulder Theater on April 18th.

This year marks the 8th consecutive year that young designers will present their original garment designs that are comprised of found and recycled materials. The workshops culminate in the Recycled Runway competition and fashion show. Think of this as Project Runway meets EcoCycle. Through hard work and creativity, these young designers turn things like candy wrappers, bow strings, and bicycle inner tubes into garments that rival those seen on the catwalks in Paris and New York during Fashion Week.
