Geeky is about to become even cooler at the Bovine Metropolis Theater with the return of the very popular improv production Geek Out for a limited 5 week run. And this run has a special focus: TV Shows from the '80s and '90s.

Geek Out is an enthusiastic celebration of knowledge and comedy, chock full of interesting trivia, and hysterical moments of improvisation. It's a place where nerdiness is not just condoned, but encouraged.

Every show, a new expert or "geek" in their field will teach the audience and Bovine School of Improv instructors about a piece of pop culture. The instructors/actors will then improvise a hilarious and distinctly informed show on the subject.

"The show is unique because it comprises expert players, who are also improv instructors and graduates of the Bovine School of Improv. They all imbibe the same 'play" philosophy" artistic director Eric Farone said. "We all play the same way and complement each other. The "geek" guest each week is also an expert on a specific topic. They know so much about their subject that the performers are able to wind and twist the topic up in new, unexpected ways."

Whether you are a Golden Girls aficionado or obsessed with The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Geek Out is a delightful way to revel in your geekdom and brush up on some new, nerdy subject matter.

The instructors at the Bovine School of Improv will be Geeking Out over the following subjects:

Saturday, May 30 - Golden Girls

Saturday, June 6 - Quantum Leap

Saturday, June 13 - Full House

Saturday, June 20 - Walker Texas Ranger

Saturday, June 27 - Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

Geek Out plays on Saturday nights at 8:00 p.m. for a limited 5 week run. It opens Saturday, May 30, 2015 and plays through Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Bovine Metropolis Theater, 1527 Champa Street, Denver, CO 80202. Tickets are $16 at the door or $14 online. The show is for all ages and tickets can be purchased online at www.BovineMetropolis.com.
