On July 21st and 22nd, Creede Repertory Theatre will be showing two films by documentarian and Creede-lover Bev Chapman.

We will kick the evening off with Bev's latest feature: 50 Seasons Strong, an intimate look at the beginnings of our own beloved theatre company. The documentary includes interviews with some of CRT's founders, along with other notable alums, including Mandy Patinkin, Maurice LaMee and Steve Scott. This film captures the spirit of those early years and celebrates the many individuals who worked for five decades to ensure CRT's success.

Paired with 50 Seasons Strong is Bev's documentary, Big Burn, covering the 2013 West Fork Fire Complex and its significant impact on the people and forests of Mineral County.

The double feature event will be a joint fundraiser for Creede Repertory Theatre and Creede Community Foundation. DVDs of the films will be for sale in CRT's Mainstage lobby both nights. Ticket sales and any DVDs sold will go to support the individual organizations.

50 Seasons Strong and Big Burn will be shown back-to-back, with a run time of approximately 30 minutes each and a short 10-minute intermission. Tickets ($15/General Admission) are available online at www.creederep.org or by calling (719) 658-2540.
