Broadway vet Jeffrey DeMunn has joined the cast of the upcoming production of DEATH OF A SALEMAN, opening in April at the Dallas Theater Center. DeMunn will play the role of Willy Lohman in the Arthur Miller classic. The show will run April 16th through May 16th.

Arthur Miller's Pulitzer Prize-winning Death of a Salesman is one of the greatest achievements of 20th Century drama. Its central character, Willy Loman, a little man with modest dreams, towers over American dramatic literature. The finest actors on either side of the Atlantic consider the role a monumental achievement - the American Lear. This new production will bring a master actor to Dallas to join with DTC's own Resident Acting Company in creating an unforgettable production worthy of this seminal classic. Exploring the gap between fathers and sons, the tragedy of misplaced ambitions, and the rightful definition of the American dream itself, Death of a Salesman speaks of human dilemmas and human truths...and it continues to have the power to speak to audiences today.

DeMunn has appeared on Broadway since 1977, first in Comedians alongside John Lithgow and Jonathan Pryce. DeMunn has also appeared in Bent (Horst), K2 (Taylor), Sleight of Hand (Dancer), Spoils of Hand (Andrew), Hedda Gabler (George Tesman), The Price (Victor Franz), and the revival of Our Town (Mr. Webb) alongside Jayne Atkinson. DeMunn is perhaps best known for his role on the hit television show "Law and Order" as Professor Norman Rothenberg. His film credits include The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile.

Performances of the produciton take place Tuesday throught Thursday at 7:00pm, Friday and Saturday at 8:00pm, Saturday and Sunday at 2:00pm, and Sunday at 7:00pm. Tickets for DEATH OF A SALESMAN range in price from $40 to $72 and may be purchased online at tickets.attpac.org or by calling the Dallas Theatre Center box office at 214.880.0202.
