The nonprofit AT&T Performing Arts Center announced today that great seats in all price levels are available for its ongoing program BROADWAY EN ESPAÑOL for the Friday, June 3, 8:00 p.m. performance of Roundabout Theatre Company's national tour of Sam Mendes and Rob Marshall's Tony Award-winning production of CABARET.

This groundbreaking program, created in partnership with Univision and Cara Mía Theatre Co. translates specific performances of touring Broadway shows into Spanish with audio delivered via headsets provided free to any interested attendee. The translation is performed live by members of the Cara Mía Theatre Co. who are sequestered in a glassed-in booth at the back of the Winspear Opera House.

BROADWAY EN ESPAÑOL grew out of an ongoing dialogue between the Center and Univision about making performances on the Center's campus more accessible and relevant to the area's enormous Latin community. Cara Mía was approached about delivering the performances for the program due to its wide acclaim in Spanish and bilingual theatre.

CABARET is the fourth show to participate in BROADWAY EN ESPAÑOL. Additional Broadway shows to be featured in the program will be announced in the coming months.

Ticket buyers wishing to listen to CABARET in Spanish, available at the Friday, June 3, 8:00 p.m. performance only, are able to check out listening devices in the lobby of the Winspear Opera House prior to the performance. There is no charge to borrow the devices and no reservation is necessary.

Tickets for the BROADWAY EN ESPAÑOL performance of CABARET, which range in price from $25 to $100, may be purchased at www.attpac.org/broadwayenespanol or by calling the box office at 214-880-0202. Center Members get access to the best available tickets. Call Membership Services at 214-978-2888 or go to www.attpac.org/support to join.
