You may know him best from his wildly popular "Carpool Karaoke" segments on The Late, Late Show with James Corden, or as the highest rated host of this year's Tony Awards, but in 2011 he found fame as a stage actor and earned a Tony Award in the acclaimed farce 'One Man, Two Guvnors' transferring with it from London to Broadway, thus beginning Transatlantic success topped in 2015 when he became the host of CBS 'The Late, Late Show'. The Ridgefield Playhouse and AAA Northeast at The Playhouse Live in HD Series, bring an encore presentation of National Theatre of London's comedy sensation One Man, Two Guvnors - winner of the Evening Standard Award and the Critics' Circle Award. Fired from his skiffle band, Francis Henshall becomes minder to Roscoe Crabbe, a small time East End hood, now in Brighton to collect £6,000 from his fiancée's dad. But Roscoe is really his sister Rachel posing as her own dead brother, who's been killed by her boyfriend Stanley Stubbers. Holed up at The Cricketers' Arms, the permanently ravenous Francis spots the chance of an extra meal ticket and takes a second job with one Stanley Stubbers, who is hiding from the police and waiting to be re-united with Rachel. To prevent discovery, Francis must keep his two guvnors apart. Simple.
