Performing Arts Department Theatre to Present SOUTH PACIFIC & More this Fall

The Performing Arts Department Theatre program has announced its Fall 2014 Harry Hope Theatre season of shows whichwill take the characters and the audiences on journeys through time to distant shores. First up, On The Verge, or the Geography of Yearning by Eric Overmyer will be directed by F. Chase Rozelle III and will run October 7-12, 2014 (Tuesday-Saturday at 7:30 p.m.; Sunday at 4 p.m.)in the Harry Hope Theatre (Shafer Hall ground floor; corner of High and Valley Streets, Willimantic, CT 06226).

South Pacific based on the "Tales Of The South Pacific" by James Michener with Music by Richard Rodgers, Lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, and Book by Oscar Hammerstein II and Joshua Logan will be directed by Ellen Faith Brodie and will run November 19-24, 2014 (Wednesday-Saturday at 7:30 p.m.; Sunday at 4 p.m.; Monday at 7:30 p.m.) in the Harry Hope Theatre (Shafer Hall ground floor; corner of High and Valley Streets, Willimantic, CT 06226).

Admission is free for Eastern students; $5 for Students (other than Eastern) and groups of 10 or more; $10 for Eastern faculty, staff, alumni, and senior citizens; $15 for General public. For reservations, please call the Harry Hope Theatre box office at 860-465-5123.
