New Members to Join Playhouse Theatre Group, Inc. Board of Directors

Hon Nina Elgo, Donna Haghighat and Janice Weinstein join The Playhouse Theatre Group, Inc Board of Directors as Playhouse on Park begins its eighth season.

In addition to serving on the Board, Nina is a Judge for the Superior Court of Connecticut and the Judicial District of Hartford, Janice is an interior decorator and the owner of West Hartford's Spirited Design, and Donna is the Chief Engagement and Advocacy Officer at YWCA Hartford Region.

They join current Board Members Michael Astrachan, Cheyney Barrieau, Jitu Huntley, Lou Luba, Erin Matino, Anna Namnoum, Richard Rubenstein, Charles Veley, Joseph Waxman, and its officers: Carol McCabe (President), Meg Rattigan (Vice President), Matthew Bragg (Treasurer) Robert Slifka (Secretary). Newly Emiritus members include Bonnie Gauthier and Julianne Roth.

Playhouse Theatre Group, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is governed by a board of directors. The Board of Directors provides strategic leadership, fiduciary oversight and works to ensure the organizational goals are met. The mission of Playhouse on Park is to provide quality entertainment at affordable costs to as broad an audience as possible, embracing opportunity for professional and emerging artists, and to be an integral member of the West Hartford community.
