Fragmented identity. Sublimated love affairs. A nagging desire for fame. And the limits of what can (or should) be believed.
In this new play from Jennifer Schlueter and the for/word company, a turn of the century St. Louis housewife finds her voice through an Ouija board. But: should she listen? Inspired by and built from archival material that resides in the Missouri History Museum, Patience Worth is a multimedia performance event, created in collaboration with animator and motion capture expert Vita Berezina-Blackburn from the Advanced Center for Computing Arts and Design (ACCAD) and features the groundbreaking use of Unity software by John Luna.
