Hero Ventures has announced that The Marvel Experience: The World's First Hyper-Reality Tour will bring its unique brand of immersive fun and excitement to Chicago for three weeks beginning Saturday, July 11 and running through Sunday, August 2 at McCormick Place.

The Marvel Experience is an immersive, Domed attraction that features the world's first-ever 360-degree, 3-D stereoscopic full-Dome projection theatre. Along with the aforementioned, there is a state-of-the-art, thrilling motion ride and a "training center" that offers the opportunity for Marvel fans to actually become "part of the adventure."

Tickets, ranging in price from $24.50 to $44.50 for the Chicago engagement, will be available exclusively through Ticketmaster at ticketmaster.com or by calling 800-745-3000. Tickets will be available on site at the box office beginning July 11. Hours of operation vary depending on the day. For a complete schedule visit The Marvel Experience website www.themarvelexperiencetour.com

The Marvel Experience allows Marvel comic book and movie fans to join forces with some of the world's most beloved Super Heroes in a place where the real world and imagination become one. Having played just three stops on its inaugural tour to date, The Marvel Experience has garnered rave reviews, including the below sampling of critical praise:

"The Marvel Experience may do for live entertainment what P.T. Barnum did for the three-ring circus."
- Jon Swartz, USA TODAY

"If you like comics, if you love technology, if you like FUN, this is a must-see, must-experience event. You simply won't be disappointed."
- The Arizona Republic

"Fresh off our smash-hit, extended run in San Diego, we are more energized than ever to bring The Marvel Experience to these major cities in the U.S.," said Hero Ventures' COO Doug Schaer and CEO Rick Licht, in a joint statement. "It's the perfect complement to the huge hit film, Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron as well as to Marvel's Ant-Man which will be released later this summer."

"We have specifically chosen markets known for their passionate fans, which I know personally from my years of producing and promoting in these great cities" said Executive Producer Michael Cohl. "The Marvel Experience will bring excitement and innovation to these great entertainment destinations."

Produced by Hero Ventures, this first-ever hyper-reality touring attraction will travel throughout the summer with fall dates to be announced shortly.

As agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in training, guests of The Marvel Experience swing with Spider-Man, smash with Hulk, fly with Iron Man and more, all in preparation for an epic battle alongside Marvel's biggest Super Heroes in a fight against Red Skull, M.O.D.O.K. and an army of evil Adaptoids. The Marvel Experience incorporates next-generation interactive technology including augmented reality and multi-person gaming so you can see yourself in action. Everything happens with bleeding-edge technology and advanced computer animation. There's nothing else like it. Not only does the audience get to join the adventure, in the end they may even become heroes themselves.
