BARNUM, the Cy Coleman circus musical centered around legendary showman P.T. Barnum, comes to the Mercury March 27 through June 30, 2013, complete with professional circus performers. It features book by Mark Bramble, lyrics by Michael Stewart, and music by Cy Coleman.

The greatest show on earth is the setting for the life story of Phineas Taylor Barnum. Celebrating its Chicago professional premiere, BARNUM sets this colorful personality inside the center ring of his own circus. Audiences will be thrilled with high flying acrobatics as BARNUM tells the story of America's greatest showman. This show bursts with toe tapping melodies; ballads, marches, and ragtime tunes by Cy Coleman and Michael Stewart.

Weygandt has appeared on Broadway in Big and Wicked, as well as off-Broadway's Best Foot Forward, the national tours of A Christmas Story, The Musical and Wicked, and regional productions of The Light in the Piazza, Don't Dress for Dinner, Inspecting Carol, Taming of the Shrew, The Music Man, The Man Who Came to Dinner, Lend Me A Tenor, Me and My Girl, Little Shop of Horrors and many more. His film credits include The Birdcage, The Babe, Shattered Illusion and The Pager.
