All summer and into the fall, Fox Valley Repertory presents beloved music, modern comedy, and staged readings of new plays never before seen on stage. The season includes: Theo Ubique's nostalgic musical revue, Some Enchanted Evening, the inquisitive innovation of Collider New Play Project, Heather Moran's musical story of Rosemary Clooney in Rosie! A Tribute..., FVR Youth Ensemble's return to Disney's High School Musical, Mike Toomey's multimedia comedic recollection of television in TV & Me, Chicago's finest improv troupe performing The Best of The Second City, and marriage, mermaids, and modern comedy in Sirens, at Pheasant Run Resort (4051 E. Main St., St. Charles, IL; 630-584-6342).

Fox Valley Rep presents Some Enchanted Evening, Theo Ubique's hottest Chicago revue of 20th Century Broadway icons and giants of musical theater, Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein. Spend an evening harkening to the days of sophistication and celebrate beautiful songs and lyrics from some of musical theater's classics that have forever defined the genre: Carousel, Cinderella, The King and I, Oklahoma, South Pacific, The Sound of Music and more. Some Enchanted Evening performs May 31 - July 22, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 2pm, and Thursday, July 19 at 2pm. Rated PG. Tickets are $32 - $42.

Collider New Play Project is a new play program partnering playwrights from around the country with scientists from Fermilab National Accelerator Laboratory to develop new works that help us better understand the universe and who we are, while illuminating and celebrating the worlds of art, science and technology. The result will be three world premier staged readings in St. Charles. The individual readings perform July 7 - 21, Saturdays at 1pm. Rated PG13. Suggested $10 donation at door.

Heather Moran
Rosie! A Tribute... is a loving and well-told musical adventure, spanning the 40 year career of the great Girl Singer, Rosemary Clooney. Heather Moran has deftly created a musical tapestry from the colorful life of Clooney, spanning from her birth in Maysville, Kentucky, through her nervous breakdown in the late 1960's, her mid 1970's comeback, all the way to her death in 2002. Includes "Mambo Italiano," "Come On-a My House," "Tenderly" and more! Rosie! A Tribute... performs on Saturday, July 28, at 8pm. Tickets are $32.

Everyone's favorite Disney Channel movie comes to life in the FVR Youth Ensemble Production of High School Musical! Basketball star Troy falls for new student Gabriella, and they audition for the school musical despite discouragement from diva Sharpay. Between the different social groups of the school, plenty of drama unfolds over these auditions, but eventually all the students of East High must realize that they are "All in This Together"! Disney's High School Musical performs July 21 - August 5, Saturdays at 10:30am; Friday, August 3, at 7pm; and Sundays, July 29 & August 5, at 2pm. Rated G. Tickets are $15.

Mike Toomey
In TV & Me, a hilarious trip down memory lane, national comedian Mike Toomey reveals how the role of television in his childhood has shaped his adult life. Revisit 60's and 70's TV Land with this multimedia presentation, featuring over 200 slide and sound bytes. That's not to mention Toomey's dead-on impression of your favorite TV celebrities! TV & Me performs on Saturday, August 4, at 8pm. Rated PG13. Tickets are $32.

Chicago's best-loved comedy group returns for a night of their unique brand of hilarity, in The Best of The Second City. From the company that launched the careers of Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell, Gilda Radner, Bill Murray and more, comes the next generation of the comedy world's best and brightest in an evening of hilarious sketch comedy and Second City's trademark improvisation. The Best of The Second City performs August 10 - 11, Friday and Saturday at 8pm. Rated R. Tickets are $42.

Sirens, a hit from the 2009 Humana Festival of American Plays, is a modern comedy about the stormy seas of marriage, the lures of Facebook, and the dangers of a breathtaking song. When washed-up songwriter Sam and his wife Rose attempt to rekindle their 25 years together with a Greek Isles cruise, their marriage doesn't just go adrift-it almost gets lost at sea! Laugh as these empty nesters brave the storm in search of their own happily ever after. Sirens performs August 16 - October 7: Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm; Sundays at 2pm; Thursdays, August 16 & 23, at 8pm; and Thursdays, August 30 & September 13, at 2pm. Rated PG13. Tickets are $32 - $42.
