POINT AND SHOOT is a devised play based on the true story of Diana Hopper, a girl born to a family of lost souls in the California desert, and her friendship with John Locke, a lonely gay man and artist with a mysterious past of his own. John plays a leading part in Diana's life as she grows into adulthood. When tragedy strikes twice, Diana's plans for her life are demolished and John's mortality is laid bare.

Blending themes of family, ambition, love, marriage, and loss amidst the early onset of the AIDS crisis, POINT AND SHOOT seeks to illustrate just how fragile our visions of ourselves can be.

The cast features Alexander Lavelle (John), Sonja Mata (Diana), Debra Rodkin (Joanne), Nick Caesar (Paul), Mark Maxwell, and Johnathan Wallace.

The creative team includes Jake L. Fruend (Director and Playwright), Liz Ellison (Playwright), Kate Hardiman (Dramaturg), Zoë Mikel-Stites (Lighting Designer), Dustin Pettegrew (Scenic Designer), John Kelly (Technical Director), Alex Kump (Production Manager), Janelle Boudreau (Properties Designer), Alaina Moore (Costume Designer), Rachel Boissevain (Sound Designer), Paul Deziel (Projection Designer), and Christopher Semel (Videographer).
