Mondisa Monde Productions presents "Black vs All", which performs February 9th, 11th, 16th, 18th, 22nd, and 25th, alternating at 7pm and 2pm, at Gorilla Tango Theatre (1919 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago IL 60647). Tickets are $20; visit www.gorillatango.com or call 773-598-4549 for tickets and more information.

"I want the audience to be informed on what systemic struggle looks like. I want them to walk away understanding black culture ... I want change. I want them to be inspired and educated," director and producer Mondisa Monde said, adamant that now is the time for this powerhouse of a show. "This production is on time. Our generation is becoming more woke to the systemic struggle."

Black vs All began with workshops a year ago, leading up to the full length musical that it is today. Using original arrangements of popular songs and mesmerizing choreography, Black vs All tells the story of a young man crossing through time, witnessing the arc of black issues, black family, and black love.

Boasting a large cast bursting with talent, Black vs All notably features Ronald Shears (also known as 'Stuffy'), a rapper from Chicago's South Side, who has recently made the transition into the world of theatre.

Monde continued: "Black vs All is a creative protest. It is a peaceful art ... shocking, heart wrenching, motivational, and, most importantly, honest." This work asks: When will it stop?
