Time Jumpers, FLASHDANCE, Lewis Black and More Set for the Strand-Capitol in 2014-15

Downtown York's historic Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center's new line-up of shows is on sale now to members. New shows include some familiar faces back by popular demand as well as acts never before seen in York. The line-up brings a dynamic mix of world-class entertainment featuring award-winning music icons, hilariously funny stand-up stars, family-friendly variety acts and more. Tickets are on sale now to Strand-Capitol members and go on sale to the general public on Monday, June 2 at 10:00 a.m.

Highlights from the upcoming line-up include:

- The Time Jumpers
Featuring country greats: Vince Gill, Dawn Sears, Kenny Sears and Ranger Doug Green.

- Broadway favorites including:
Flashdance-The Musical; Jekyll & Hyde; and Buddy-The Buddy Holly Story.

- Southern Rock icons 38 Special

- Comedians Lewis Black and Paula Poundstone, as well as humorist David Sedaris.

- New holiday shows including: The Wizards of Winter- A Trans-Siberian Experience; and Lightwire Theater's A Very Electric Christmas; as well as holiday favorite Jim Brickman's On A Winter's Night.

- Family-friendly fun with Popovich Comedy Pet Theater's lineup of hilarious daredevil animals and the National Acrobats of China.

- Sultry dance spectaculars Tango Buenos Aires and Compania Flamenca Jose Porcel.
