Ann Davis, executive director of DreamWrights, honored a local teen with $500 as the recipient of the Ann Brougher Noll Memorial Scholarship on Saturday, April 25, 2015. The award winner, Sarah Fling is a graduating senior at West York Area High School.

Instituted in 2012 as a way to memorialize past executive director, Ann B. Noll, and to recognize and support young people, this scholarship is available to anyone between the ages of 17 and 20 who exhibit strong volunteerism, community involvement, and a sincere effort to seek out opportunities for creative and challenging growth. Ann Noll was passionate about young people and gave her full support and encouragement to their pursuit of exploring creative opportunities. This year, eight worthy teens submitted applications making the selection process difficult. DreamWrights firmly believes that all of these young people will make an impact on the world as they continue to grow. We are proud to recognize Sarah with this honor and we wish her the best as she heads on to the University of Pittsburgh.

"DreamWrights creates magical family-centered memories while developing youth leadership skills and creating life-long opportunities."

DreamWrights Youth & Family Theatre was founded in 1997 as the premier venue in York for quality theatre education that has a profound impact on our children. It's a safe and inspiring place where people of all ages can work together on all aspects of live theatre production and personal growth.
