Ring in the new year with Curtain Up Productions and the Downtown Performing Arts Center at the 3rd annual New Year's Eve Gala Fundraiser on Saturday, December 31, 2016. Set to begin at 8 pm, the event will take place at the Event Center by Cornerstone at the Eagle Fire Company, 46 N. Sugan Rd., New Hope, Pa.

Food, drink, dancing, a silent auction, cabaret and music by the group Rainbow Fresh will be featured during the event. Tickets are $75 per person or $500 for a table of 8. Admission includes hors d'oeuvres, a buffet dinner, wine and beer, gourmet desserts and champagne toast.

A silent auction will be held during the course of the evening featuring a variety of items. A signature item of the auction is 2 tickets to the Broadway production of "Hamilton". Other items include gift baskets from area businesses, gift certificates to a variety of area restaurants, tickets to see Trenton Thunder games at Arm & Hammer Park and subscriptions to Lambertville's newest performing arts venue, Music Mountain Theatre, set to open in spring 2017. Also up for auction is a walk-on role in Music Mountain Theatre's first production and backstage tours of the new theater.

All proceeds from the event will be used to help outfit Music Mountain Theatre with sound and lighting equipment and support ongoing educational outreach programs provided by the Downtown Performing Arts Center.

A cabaret with actors from the Downtown Performing Arts Center's past 6 seasons at the Washington Crossing Open Air Theatre will include duets and solo songs that reflect possible productions to be included in Music Mountain Theatre's inaugural season. Music for dancing will be provided by Montclair, N.J.-based band Rainbow Fresh. Rainbow Fresh has performed at numerous venues throughout the region including New Hope's John & Peter's and Triumph Brewery, Apple-Jack in Point Pleasant and The National Hotel in Frenchtown, N.J. The band has opened for Steve Miller and their sound is a mix of Latin groove and disco.

The 3rd annual New Year's Eve Gala presented by Curtain Up Productions and the Downtown Performing Arts Center is open to all ages. To purchase tickets in advance, visit www.downtownpac.com. Tickets will also be available at the door prior to the event.
