On Tuesday August 30th at 7pm, the Franklin Stage Company is thrilled to host for one performance only the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival's original comedy, So Please You.

Conceived and directed by Zachary Fine, a renowned actor and clown who appeared at FSC in 2012 in The Way of the World and appeared this summer at Hudson Valley Shakespeare in Measure for Measure, this family-friendly clown play tells the story of a servant named Dennis, a character who appears once in William Shakespeare's As You Like It merely to announce that, "so please you," there is a wrestler at the door! Taking as its inspiration a single moment of Shakespearean mischief, Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival's Conservatory Company has created a "tragical-comical, comical-tragical" tale around one of Shakespeare's (almost) silent and definitely unexpected heroes! Suitable for all ages, this mosaic of Shakespearean history and language has something for everyone.
As always at FSC, admission is free (donations gratefully accepted) and reservations are
